I am Back

I have not been blogging on this blog for a long time but I think that I am ready to begin again.

TODAY

I have moved and am settling in. I love my new place but there is so much still to do.

I am drinking a glass of wine and watching The Kentucky Derby.
The weather today is beautiful.

My thesis is on line. I have created a thesis page on my website. Check it out.

I HAVE MOVED

I have finally moved into my new place. I love it but I am exhausted. So many things seem to be going wrong but people tell me that that is normal. And all that is going wrong is getting corrected.

I love my new building and apartment. I love the new area. And I like the people who live in my building.

I still have a lot of things to do next week before I can feel settled in but I am getting there.

SXSW

I think SXSW is beginning to get out of hand. It has become too big and too frantic. It is now South Padre island without the beach.
I continue to move to my new place. I was given a really nice couch by the complex. I look forward to being in the new place.
I am going to be 63 years old tomorrow.

FEELING GOOD

I am feeling wonderful today. I am feeling serene and peaceful.
I had a wonderful time at dinner last night at the Clay Pit with Ron and Shazna; Stephanie and Jason; and Dan. The food was great. so was the wine. and most definitely the company.
Ron was wonderful during his stay in Austin. He helped me move some boxes to my new place.
I have hired movers for the 25th. I am looking forward to moving. I am going there today to bring a few things over but there is also a pot luck for all the residents who are having a birthday in March. I am one of those residents. It will be my first social activity at Western Trails and I will also get a chance to meet some of my new neighbors.
