SXSW

SXSW is upon us.    Thousands, and I mean thousands of people are heading towards Austin.  The city will become overcrowded and frenzied.  A word of caution to you travelers:  be cautious, watch your belongings and be very aware of your surroundings.  Not everyone at SXSW has the best of intentions.  Some are looking to get your purses and wallets: others looking for a fight and worse.
Personally, I believe that the festival is out of control.  Every year, there are unplanned mishaps.  I am waiting to see what is going to happen this year.
However, in saying the above, the festival is still a lot of fun.  There is so much to do, almost too much to do.  The entertainment is excellent and incredible.  You can choose to stay on one block or explore different neighborhoods.  Music and film are everywhere.  It does not matter where you are: you will be treated to some great music.  Part of the fun is people watching and the discovering.
I am always interested in your SXSW story.

SXSW

SXSW is coming. It brings a lot of people and excitement to Austin. It also brings in a lot of money and a lot of headaches. At times, it is almost too much. But , I manage to enjoy myself. I stick with the low cost or free things. It is not necessary to spend a lot of money for entertainment during SXSW. There are so many free events. Walking around and discovering people and things is a lot of the fun.
